Violet Tier 

Virgin Voyages’ Violet Tier is your stepping stone to industry leading benefits. After completing five Seacademy lessons, you’ll earn your first knot. As a First Mate with one tier down, you’ll receive a downloadable certificate and a stamp to add to your email signature

Scarlet Tier

After completing ten Seacademy lessons, you’ll earn your second knot and an updated certificate and email signature stamp, plus a £75/$100 Bonus Commission Voucher (one per First Mate, not combinable with any other voucher).

Silver Tier 

Now you’re getting the hang of it, and we’re so thrilled. When you complete 15 Seacademy lessons, you’ll again receive an updated certificate and email signature. Your hard work also pays off with access to First Mate-exclusive rates from $100 per Sailor per night.

Gold Tier

After 20 Seacademy lessons, you’ve certainly learned the ropes of selling Virgin Voyages and it’s time to celebrate! You’ll receive a downloadable certificate and email signature with your updated level, and three bonuses to show our appreciation for your support and dedication: $150 in Sailor Loot for your cabin on a voyage, priority access to events, and first dibs on future fam trips.

  • I've signed up to do business as a Firs Mate, do I need to sign up for Seacademy as well?

    That's right, great job on signing up to do business with us, we do need you to sign up to Seacademy as well. The email address you enter below must be the same email address you used to register for FirstMates.com. If your email does not match you will not receive a Seacademy log in.

  • How do I register for access?

    You must be an employee, manager or owner of an approved First Mate agency (an agency registered to do business with Virgin Voyages).

    ✅ You must be a registered First Mate on FirstMates.com. If you haven't registered you will NOT receive a Seacademy log in and access to our amazing perks.

    ✅ The email address you enter below must be the same email address you used to register for FirstMates.com. If your email does not match you will not receive a Seacademy log in.

    ✅ Please ensure your email address is typed correctly - if your email is incorrect you will not receive your access to Seacademy

  • What is the best web browser to use?

    Seacademy works with any web browser, however we recommend you use Google Chrome for the optimal experience.

  • Should I use a Laptop/Desktop or can I use an iPad or mobile device?

  • I was in the middle of learning and my connection dropped out.

    Whether you have the best internet connection or the worst, Seacademy works best on a stable connection. If you experience an interruption in your service, simply reload the webpage and continue.

  • What about Cache and Cookies?

    If you are experiencing a few gremlins, make sure you clear your cache and cookies and reload the content to continue.

  • Do I have to click on all sections?

    Absolutely, our learning is designed to be engaging and interactive, never a death by powerpoint. Please make sure you access all sections in order to continue and progress with each course and tier.

  • I didn't achieve the passmark for a quiz, what do I do?

    Simply, click restart quiz and have another go, on us 😉

  • I've forgotten my password

    No problem, it happens. Simply follow the "forgot your password" prompts at the login page. If you receive an error, this could be due to your connection not being stable. Reload the page and try again.
